Local water planning group sets meetings for next week

There will be a series of meetings for the Community-Based Water Planning (CBWP) collaborative next week.

The full CBWP collaborative will hold an important meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 28, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the Harney County Community Center. Dinner will be provided. During this full collaborative meeting, members will be discussing consensus on potential elements of the water resources plan. All members of the collaborative are highly encouraged to attend.

Working Groups: On Tuesday, Nov. 27, the Ecological Working Group will meet from 1-4 p.m. at the Community Center. The Agriculture Working Group will hold its meeting that Tuesday evening from 5-8 p.m., also at the Community Center.

Note: The Vegetation Management meeting that was scheduled for that Wednesday afternoon has been rescheduled for Dec. 11, from 1-4 p.m.

On Thursday, Nov. 29, the Domestic/Municipal Working Group meets from 5-8 p.m. at the Community Center. The public is invited to participate in any of our planning meetings.
