Trevor Heimer, 31, passed away May 23 from kidney failure brought on by complications from cerebral palsy.

Trevor was born Sept. 21, 1986, and had been living in Tigard for the last 10 years. Trevor was born in Burns, where he lived the first half of his life with his parents, and he then relocated to the Portland area to be closer to medical facilities that could better care for him.

Trevor graduated from Tigard High School in 2007, and loved giving his teachers a hard time. He enjoyed fishing and listening to his favorite opera by Andrea Bocelli. He will always be remembered for his mischievous (wicked) antics, his wonderful smile, and the way he could tell you he loved you just by looking at you.

Trevor is survived by his parents, Jimmy and Mary Heimer of Burns; foster parents, Dan and Cheri Hampton of Tigard; the love of his life, Desi, of Tigard; sister, Nicole Carver and husband Kevin, and their daughter, Olivia, of Pendleton; grandmother, Alice Cross of Pendleton; aunts and uncles, David and Arlene Cross of Burns, Neal and Kristy Cross of Terrebonne, and Bob and Sky Cross of Spokane, Wash., Sharon Bailey of Burns, Mary and Don Samuelson of Boise, Idaho, and Bertha and Jerry Norris of Buhl, Idaho.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Iona Heimer; grandfather, Lester Cross; and aunt, Diana Mclean.

There will be a celebration of life for Trevor at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 9 at Bible Baptist Church in Hines. In lieu of flowers, donations in Trevor’s memory may be made to the Shriners Hospital of Portland.
