Celebrate Independence Day in Harney County

Independence Day is coming up this Sunday, July 4, and two days of fun-filled activities have been planned to celebrate the holiday weekend!

The Independence Day Parade will be held Saturday, July 3 in downtown Burns. Participants should begin lining up at 8:30 a.m. The parade will begin at 10 a.m.

Following the parade on Saturday, head over to the Hines City Parks for the Hines Independence Day Celebration. The event will include arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, a Slip ‘N Slide, water balloons, a dunk tank, live music, and a classic car display.

The Harney County Fireworks Fourth of July Display will be held Sunday, July 4 as soon as the sun sets and the sky is dark (about 9:45 p.m.) near the Harney County Fairgrounds. The show will be brought to you by the Kiwanis Club of Burns-Hines with generous donations from the community.
