Alice Louise Hoke Risseeuw 1952 – 2020 Obituary December 30, 2020December 30, 20200 Alice Louise Hoke Risseeuw passed away at the age of 69. She entered into her heavenly home on Nov. 29, peacefully in her sleep. Alice was born Dec. 15, 2952 to Louis and Betty Hoke in Caldwell, Idaho. Alice grew up in Burns, graduating from Burns Union High School in 1970. She attended Western Oregon University immediately after high school. Later going to CBN University in Virginia Beach, Va., then received her Masters at University of Oregon. She spent several years with the Springfield School District as a counselor and special Ed teacher, retiring in 2012. After being retired for a few years, she worked for Willamina School District and Sheridan Japanese School. In 2012, she met Dave Risseeuw, moved to Willamina and married Dave on Dec. 16, 2012. They bought a farm in Grand Ronde, where they raised bulls and steers. Alice was preceded in death by two husbands, Orm Carter (2008), and Dave Risseeuw (2018); and her father, Louis Hoke (2017). Alice is survived by her mother, Betty Hoke, of Grand Ronde; brothers, Dale Hoke (Trudi), of Bend, Dan Hoke (Jen), of Burns; sister, Anna White (Bud), of Grand Ronde; nephews, Randy Studebaker, Daniel Studebaker, Jake Hoke, and DJ Hoke; nieces, Madi Hoke, Alicyn Hoke, and Andie Stuebaker; step-daughters, Tiffany Risseeuw, of Grand Ronde, Lindsey Stuckey, of Willamina, Jennifer Risseeuw, of South Carolina, and Jessica Risseeuw, of Salem. Those who knew Alice, knew she had a passion for life. She loved God, family, friends, music, animals and last, but not least, Willie Nelson. Graveside services were held Dec. 12 in Sheridan, Ore.
