Colleen Clemens, 94, of Sherwood, passed away peacefully at her home June 5.

Colleen was born June 3, 1926, in Minnesota to Frank and Eva Peterlin. The family moved to Hines when Colleen was 10 years old. She married her husband, Darrell, in October 1946. They bought a home in Hines where they lived for 23 years, later building a home in Burns where they lived until 1992 when they moved to Sherwood to be closer to their three daughters. Darrell passed away in 2002. Colleen worked at Safeway in Burns for more than 20 years.

She is survived by daughters, Cheryl Brown (Rick) of Tualatin, Darlene Clemens of Portland, and Debra Clemens of Sherwood;  granddaughter, Lisa Cooper (Alex) of Spokane,Wash.; grandson, Scott Turner (Andie) of White Rock, N.M.; granddaughter, Jamie Iverson of Troutdale; great-grandchildren, Justin Cooper (Brittney), Travis Cooper (Mackenzie), Nate Turner, Sydney Jo Turner, Austin Field, Amelia Field; great-great-grandchildren, Jaxten Cooper, Everly Cooper, and Quincy Cooper.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Darrell.

Per her wishes, there will not be a service. She is being cremated.
