Brenda Faye (Lowry) Porras, 75, of Burns, passed away Aug. 6 at Harney District Hospital. Her remaining days were spent with the love and laughter of her family.

Brenda was born June 21, 1944, in Oakland, Calif., to William and Alma Lowry. Brenda married the love of her life, Armando Porras, April 8, 1969. Brenda was loved by all who came to know her. She devoted her time to raising her family and enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes, crocheting, puzzles, fishing, and creating memories with her kids, grandkids, and great-grandchildren.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Armando Porras of Burns; sons, Norm Lausten of California, and Jeff Lausten of California; daughters, Angela L. Reed and husband, Ronal Reed, of Warrensburg, Mo., and Armida Porras of Burns; grandchildren, Amanda Henke of Warrensburg, Mo., William (Billy) G.V. Ezard Jr. and wife, Meagan Ezard, of Sandy, Triston V. Reed Sr., Zachary T. Reed, Hunter R. Reed, and Alyssa L. Reed of Warrensburg, Mo., Allison Gregory, Ryan Gregory, and Emma Gregory of Burns; and two great-grandchildren, Julianna Dzierzek of Burns, and Triston V. Reed Jr. of Warrensburg, Mo.; and sister, Linda Garcia of California.

She was proceeded in death by her father, William Lowry; mother, Alma Lowry; sister, Anne Vega; and brothers, William and Bubby Lowry.
