Kenneth Warren Esarey Obituary March 13, 2019March 13, 20190 Kenneth Warren Esarey, 73, a longtime resident of Spanaway, Wash., passed away Dec. 28, 2018, in Las Vegas, Nev. Throughout his youth, his interests centered around Arab horses, fishing, and working at Woody’s Market, the family business on the Mountain Highway. Kenny wrestled and played football in high school, and, for many years, was a coach in the youth wrestling program in Spanaway. He worked as a farrier in the Spanaway-Graham area, tried the restaurant business in Crooked River, and completed his working life as a correctional officer for the state of Oregon. In his later years, he enjoyed fishing, cooking, and snowbird traveling to the desert in his RV. For several summers, Kenny worked as a campground host at Yellowjacket Lake, near Burns. He was proud of his military service, and was an advocate for conservative values. He loved his country. Kenny was loved by those who had the lucky chance to know him. Services will be held at a later date.
