Glenn Raymond Dunn March 24, 1936 – Sept. 24, 2024

Glenn Raymond Dunn was born March 24, 1936 in Burns, and passed in the early morning of Sept. 24, 2024, in his home in Klamath Falls.

Glenn was an Air Force Veteran with four years of service as a radio technician on B-52 airplanes during 1954 – 1958. 

Glenn was a graduate of Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls, Oregon and retired from the Klamath County Road Department.

As a young boy, his dad worked in the mill and worked cattle as a cowboy and his mom was a teacher.

His first automobile was a blue 1959 Chevrolet Apache pickup with a spare wheel on the step. He ordered and purchased it in 1959 and cared for it until his daughter Tammy purchased it from him for about the same price he bought it brand new. She had driven the pickup to high school as a teenager and loved it.

Glenn was an avid fisherman and hunter of mostly deer, elk, and antelope, but he also hunted bear, and ducks. His son, Chris hunted with him as well as family from Burns and Bend.

He carried membership cards to the National Rifle Association of America, Oregon Pioneer Permanent Hunting/Angling License, America the Beautiful National Park Senior Pass, Precinct Memorandum Voting Card, Oregon All-Terrain Vehicle Safety Education Card, and a Klamath County Library card. 

Glenn Raymond Dunn was preceded in death by his daughter, Diana Mahnke; his daughter-in-law, Jennifer Dunn; his brother, Frank Dunn; and his parents, Elmer and Reatha Dunn. 

He is survived by his daughter, Tammy and Don Reynolds her husband; his son, Chris Dunn; his sister, Aeola and Ron Tiller; his sister, Arvetta and Orville Cheek; his granddaughter, Brittany and Russell Garrett; his granddaughter, Bobbi Coonse; his great-grandchildren, Liam, Adonis, Kristen, Alex, Jordan, Kylee, and Kaitlyn; his great-great-grandchildren, Dominic, Lily, Rosy, Conner, and Ricky; his nieces and nephews, Ron and Sharon, Bruce, Scott and Lisa, Sherri and Ken, Mike and Kathy, Laurie and John, and Jennifer and Mark, and their families.

A celebration of life will be held on Nov. 2, 2024, at the Refuge City Church at 11 a.m. and burial in Klamath Falls. O’Hair-Wards Funeral Chapel is assisting with arrangements. Sign the online guestbook at www.HeraldandNews.com/obituaries
