Estep inducted into OSEA Hall of Fame

Francis Estep

At the Oregon State Elks Association summer convention held in Seaside on April 23-25, 2024, long-time member of the Burns Lodge No. 1680, Francis Estep, had the highest honor bestowed upon him.

Estep was inducted into the Oregon State Elks Association (OSEA) Hall of Fame for his years of dedication and contribution to the local lodge, the State Association and Grand Lodge. He’s been a member of the Burns Lodge for 54 years, and has been Chairman of the Trustees twice, Exalted Ruler twice, cooked in the kitchen and has been on many local lodge committees. He has attended Grand Lodge session 11 times, served on the Drug Awareness Committee, Youth Activities Committee and Soccer Committee as District Chairman in the OSEA

At the state level, Estep has held the position of  State Officer OSEA Inner Guard and State Photographer. Estep was elected to the OSEA Board of Trustees in 2007 and was Chairman of the Board in 2014. His family made the trip as to surprise him by showing up to support him as he received the great honor in Elkdom.
