Pamela Lynn Litscher 1948-2016 Obituary April 13, 2016April 13, 20160 Pamela Lynn Litscher passed away April 4 at her home in Burns. Pam was born July 23, 1948, in Toledo, Ohio, to Don and Mona (Harris) Dinger. She moved around a lot in her younger years to different states, including New Mexico, Colorado, Minnesota, West Virginia, Nebraska, and Oregon. She attended grammar schools in several of these places and high school in Colorado. Her later education was Portland Community College, where she earned a degree in graphic reproduction. Pam and Jim were married Nov. 18, 1978, in Newberg. They lived in Newberg and McMinnville for many years. After Jim retired, they moved to Burns. While in Newberg, Pam owned and operated a typesetting business. She was a long time member of Little People of America, Oregon Oldtime Fiddlers, and Burns Foursquare Church. She was a volunteer at Harney HOPE and the Harney County Senior and Community Services Center, where she served on the board of directors. Pam is survived by her husband, Jim; daughter-in-law, Tina Hedrick; sister-in-law, Ruthie (Jim) Miller; brother-in-law, Dave (Jan) Litscher; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four children. Per her request, there will not be a funeral.
