Ayla Davies has led the SOU Raider softball team to a No. 3 ranking with a 34-4 record.

Ayla Davies, 2024 BHS graduate and standout pitcher, has been named National NAIA Softball Pitcher of the Week, while dominating at Southern Oregon University. Davies has also been named Cascade Conference Pitcher of the Week four times so far this season.

Davies, a true freshman, is 20-2 in her first year, with an 0.80 ERA. She’s struckout 154 batters, ranking her third in the nation. She also leads the nation in wins with 20 and is second in ERA. She also ranks third in the nation in saves with three.

Davies has pitched three complete games, including beating the No. 2 team in the nation. She has also pitched three no-hitters and has double-digit stikeouts in five games. 

The Southern Oregon University Raiders are 34-4 on season and No. 3 in the nation, behind LSU Alexandria and St. Thomas out of Florida. The team has 12 games left, including four games at the No. 11 ranked Eastern Oregon University Mountaineers on Friday-Saturday, April 25-26.
