Patrick Bryan McKelvey March 27, 1962 – Feb. 3, 2025 Obituary March 12, 2025March 12, 20250 Pat was born in Globe, Ariz. He spent his younger years in the Southwest, following his father John’s job with the U.S. Forest Service. Beginning in Young, Ariz.; Heber, Ariz.; Albuquerque, N.M.; Las Vegas, N.M.; Jemez Springs, N.M.; Phoenix, Ariz.; and ending in Tucson, Ariz.. Pat graduated from Sahuaro H.S., in Tucson, in ‘81. Patrick made his solo move to Burns, to work with the BLM as a wildland firefighter. This was his last move; Burns became his lifelong home. Pat married Rosemary Bradach. They have four children and two grandchildren. Kaylyn, (Victor & Rogan McClintock); Megan (Tygh & Indy Campbell); Jacob, and Joshua. Pat also has his youngest son, Johnathon with Neala Carson and his stepdaughter, Madison. Pat was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing, hiking, skiing, gardening, and foraging. He was a skilled carpenter, concrete worker, and shared his knowledge with many. Pat lost his mother Nancy in 2023. He is survived by his father, John; and his sister, Kathleen (Owen C. Rentfro). Also, Pat’s cousin, Will Conklin who resides with John in Burns. Pat’s children will spread his ashes in the Spring. There will be a Catholic Mass to celebrate his life at a later date to be announced.
