Dale Joseph Stampke 1955 – 2025 Obituary January 15, 2025January 15, 20250 A memorial service for Dale Joseph Stampke will be held on Friday, Jan. 17, 2025, at 1 p.m., at Fisher Funeral Home in Albany, Ore. Dale passed away at his home in Albany on Jan. 3, 2025, at the age of 69. Dale was born on June 20, 1955, in Bend, to Donna June (Maudlin) Stampke and Joseph Sylvester Screenshot Stampke. He grew up in Hines, and graduated from Burns High School. He pursued higher education at Eastern Oregon University and Linn-Benton Community College, excelling in athletics as a football and baseball player, respectively. In June 1980, Dale married Mary Perry, and together they raised three children. After traveling the states for work, the family settled in Hines and then Albany. Dale had a deep love for his family, sports, and the Oregon State Beavers. In his younger years, he was an active member of the Hines Volunteer Fire Department, Hines Valley Golf Club, and the Burns Elks Lodge. He was an outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and participating in the Steens Mountain Rim Run. Dale was a passionate sports fan and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on his beloved Oregon State Beavers, including attending the 2018 College World Series and holding season tickets for Beaver football. Dale is survived by his children: Amanda Faulk and husband, Darren of Portland, Megan Bertsch and husband, Brandon of Albany, and Joseph Stampke and wife, Lisa of Portland; eight grandchildren; his former spouse, Mary Perry Skeahan; and his siblings: Lynnette Becker, Mikal Stampke, Roger Stampke, Andrea Thompson, and Suzanne Stampke. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews. Dale will be remembered as a great dad, son, brother, and friend to so many.
