Dorothy Parker, 93 years young, passed away peacefully on Sept. 6, 2024. She was born in Weiser, Idaho, on July 26, 1931.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gene Parker; and her oldest son, Alton Parker. She is survived by her son, Chris Parker, and his wife, Judy; her daughter-in-law, Marion Parker; her three grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.

Her life was marked by an unwavering love for family and enduring strength. Dorothy’s warmth, wit and wisdom were shared freely with those around her and she leaves behind a legacy of quotes you don’t hear anymore. Her most recent was “If I get a ticket to heaven and you get a ticket to hell, I will sell my ticket and go to hell with you.” Dorothy will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

No service will be held. The family invites friends and loved ones to remember and carry her memory in their hearts.
