Originally from Condon, Ore., Robin earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon in Eugene and later pursued his Master of Fine Arts at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Wash. Robin and his wife Cindy reside in Ontario, operating a home studio where they explore various pottery techniques, including Raku and high-fire methods. Beyond ceramics, since 2019, they have actively participated in geological, paleontological, and anthropological surveys with the University of Oregon and Friends of the Owyhee. Robin’s work can be found in several Oregon galleries, including the John Day Fossil Beds National Monument/Discover Your Northwest gift shop, the Mezzanine Artist’s Consortium in Condon’s Frontier Chamber of Commerce, and Cannon Beach Gallery.
