Ayla Davies threw a no-hitter at Umatilla in game 2 of a double-header on Thursday, April 18, striking out all 12 batters she faced, and not giving up a hit or walk in a 19-0 win. In the first game against Umatilla, Davies pitched a one-hitter, striking out 12 batters, in a 12-0 rout. Both games ended after the fifth inning. Jocelyn Graham went 4 for 4 and two RBIs. Grace Johnson went a perfect 4 for 4, including a double and one RBI. Bailey Temple went 4 for 5 and three RBIs, while Brooklyn Montague went 2 for 3 with two RBIs and Davies went 2 for 5, hitting a grand slam racking-up four RBIs in the process. In the second game, Analeesa Thomas finished the game, hitting a perfect 3 for 3 with one RBI. Skyla Samples went 2 for 3 with three RBIs and a double. Bailey Temple at bat. The girls hosted Nyssa (7-7, 1-2) on Tuesday, April 23. Score and stats were unavailable at press time. They’ll host Vale (13-6, 4-2) on Tuesday, April 30 with the first pitch set to begin at 5 p.m.
