The 74th annual Chamber Awards Dinner was held Saturday, Feb. 3, in the Burns Elks Lodge. The theme of this year’s dinner was ‘You Are An Important Piece of Harney County’. CASA of Eastern Oregon won the People’s Choice awards and the Nazarene Church won the Judge’s Choice for their table decorations.  

Winners of the 2024 Chamber Awards Dinner went to…Distinguished Service, Kristen Shelman and the Harney County Library staff; Silvies Student of the Year, Emma Martin; Crane Student of the Year, Kortney Doman; Burns Student of the Year, Grace Johnson; Educator of the Year, Tori Fenton; Young Farmer/Rancher, Chance Peila; Grassman of the Year; LCL Tyler Ranch; Senior Man of the Year, Dwight Ausmus; Senior Woman of the Year, Kate Marsh; Man of the Year, Jesse Harrington; Woman of the Year, Lauralynn Sewell; Boss of the Year, Craig Neher; Business Beautification, Crane Hot Springs; and Business Person of the Year, Samantha Landon.
