The Crane Mustang wrestling team finished in second place at the Oregon 1A State Championships held at Elgin High School on Saturday, Jan. 20.

Brady Otley took home the gold medal in the 144 pound weight class. 11 other Mustangs placed during the tournament, pushing Crane to a second place finish, scoring 139 points. 15 points in front of Crane to finish first with 154 points was Elgin. Camas Valley took home third place, scoring 116 points, Pine Eagle 95, North Lake 72, Adrian 69, Union 68, Imbler 66, Echo 39, and Baker  scored 32 points to round out the top 10 teams.
