Ronald William Ruff, 77, of Lincoln, Neb., passed away on July 20, 2023. Ronald was born on Oct. 18, 1945, in Lincoln, Neb.

Ronald attended grade school in Hines and graduated from BUHS in 1963. He married Sheryl Anne Kraatz on Nov. 19, 1968. He is survived by his sister, Christine Ruff Yriate; wife, Sheryl Ruff; son, Benjamin Ruff and his wife, Kerri Ruff; and grandsons, Jacob Rappa and Gabriel Ruff.

Ronald served in the United States Army Reserves from 1968 to 2005.

The Celebration of Life service at Southpointe Christian Church in Lincoln, Neb., will be held on Saturday, Oct. 14, at 1 p.m.

The memorial service with military honors will be at Omaha National Cemetery on Monday, Oct. 16, at 11 a.m.
