After leading the Burns Hilander softball team to the 2023 OSAA Class 3A state championship, junior pitcher Ayla Davies earned Oregon’s 3A Pitcher of the Year award. Burns’ head coach, Robert Medley, was named Coach of the Year for 3A.

A number of Hilanders also received 3A All-State recognition.

Davies was named to the First Team as a pitcher.

Merissa Medley, senior, was selected to the First Team as a catcher.

Ashley Wright, junior, was named to the First Team as an infielder.

Gracie Mello, sophomore, was named First Team as an outfielder.

Lacie Tiller, senior, was selected to the Third Team as an infielder.

Scio’s Myleigh Cooper was named 3A Player of the Year.
