Each year, the 1A Oregon Basketball Coaches Association (OBCA) conducts voting for the All-State team for boys and girls basketball. The teams are selected from players who were voted to their respective league’s All-Star teams.

Voting is done by coaches of teams who represented their league in the State Tournament. The player receiving the most points is the Player of the Year.
