Get ready to celebrate the season with the Harney County Christmas Jamboree, which will be held Saturday, Dec. 10, at various locations throughout Burns.

A schedule of events is as follows:

• 8-10 a.m. Breakfast with Santa at the Burns Elk Lodge, 118 N. Broadway Ave. in Burns

• 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Craft vendors and gingerbread house contest at the Harney County Chamber of Commerce, 484 N. Broadway Ave. in Burns in the Community Room.

• 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Food vendors and music at Arrowhead Park

• 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Business window scavenger hunt. (Contact the Chamber of Commerce for a scavenger hunt form.)

• 10 a.m. – noon Bird feeder building at Serendipity Book Store, 458 N. Broadway Ave. in Burns.

• 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Free painting event. Decorate a ceramic star and tree with acrylic paint, glitter, sequins, ribbons, and more at the Frontier Art Center, 405 N. Broadway in Burns.

• 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Smores and hot drinks at Plectrum Music with PMC Arts and Culture Foundation, 29 W. Washington in Burns.

• 5:30 p.m. Christmas Parade in downtown Burns. The parade will be followed by a bonfire on Monroe Street in Burns (across from Safeway). Hot cocoa and cookies will be provided by Burns Foursquare Church.
