Every year, the Harney County Chamber of Commerce hosts an awards banquet honoring those who go above and beyond to serve the community.

This year’s banquet will be held Feb. 4 at the Harney County Fairgrounds Memorial Building from 5:30-9 p.m. This will be the 73rd year of honoring individuals in our community.

Often, those who do great things go unrecognized. If you know someone who should be recognized for their service, please let the Harney County Chamber of Commerce know, so we can give them the kudos that they deserve.

There are several categories for which individuals are recognized: Senior Woman of the Year, Senior Man of the Year, Woman of the Year, Man of the Year, Boss of the Year, Business Person of the Year, Grass Man of the Year, Outstanding Young Farmer, Educator of the Year, Student of the Year, Distinguished Service, and Business Beautification.
