Len Vohs passed away on Nov. 10, 2022 at his home after a battle with cancer. He was born in Klamath Falls on Feb. 18 1949 to Chet and Jackie Vohs. The oldest of three brothers, they grew up together moving quite often due to their fathers profession. 

His life was full of many adventures. As a young man he worked as a mechanic for Halton in Portland which eventually progressed into a few decades of sales in the heavy equipment and logging industries. Once he tired of that he acquired and operated two drinking establishments on the Oregon coast. This came to an end in the late 80’s. He then went on to begin working in the fishing industry eventually obtaining a Captains license and ran tenders in Alaska. In 2005 he moved to Burns operating a small saloon. He became interested in local government and was Mayor for a period of time. He loved telling stories and giving his opinion. He will be missed by many.
