Scottie defense attacks the Bulldog offense.

The Hines Middle School football team opened the season with a 26-6 victory over Baker on Wednesday, Sept. 14.

Cannon Kemper led the scoring with two rushing touchdowns and throwing for another. Alex Camacho had a rushing touchdown and two-point conversion score, while Dayton Price caught the touchdown pass from Kemper.

On defense, Ben Chamberlain and Jasper Skunkcap lead the way with five tackles each. Scott Graham had a fumble recovery, and Talmage Gahley had an interception.

Hines Middle School will play its next game at home against Culver Middle School on Oct. 6 at 4 p.m.
