Jamming will abound this weekend at the High Desert Music Jamboree at the Harney County Fairgrounds.

Are you ready for some foot-stomping old time music?

Come on down to the High Desert Music Jamboree at Harney County Fairgrounds June 16-18, hosted by the Oregon OldTime Fiddlers.

This longstanding event of 31 years draws fiddlers, pickers, jammers, dancers, and listeners from all corners of our community, several states, and occasional international visitors. This is an acoustic music event highlighting old time fiddling, country, bluegrass, folk, and swing. 

This year’s event will feature jamming throughout each day with evening shows at 7 p.m. On Friday, dance bands will entertain you from 7 p.m. until you quit dancing! The Saturday afternoon show will start with gospel music at 1 p.m., moving on to anything goes.

Smoking Pit BBQ will be serving food from noon on Thursday through Saturday evening. Pre-purchase dinner tickets by 2 p.m. daily for the 5:30 p.m. meal.
