Edwin Tasa passed away on March 29, 2022.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Gladys. He is survived by his six children, Pam Dahl, Angie Whitney, Susie Baca, Amy Watson, Scott Tasa, and Heidi Burch; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and his little dog, Trab.

Ed was born in Aitken, Minn., on Nov. 9, 1934. He had 13 siblings and is survived by two, Edna Haymen and Larry Tasa.

Ed had a wonderful bond with his family. He loved sharing stories, poker games and camping trips with all of them.

He will be greatly missed but the life he shared with us is unmatched.

Rest easy “GPA” “Dad” “Super Ed” “Pappy” “Okie” “ET”, until we meet again.

Celebration of Life will be held on June 18 at 1:00 p.m. at the Newport Elks.
