Some people only walk this earth for a short time. Their departure reminds

us that angels are watching over us. Hazel Lilly Hyder rejoined her heavenly family and gained her wings on Sept. 23, 2021.

Hazel was born in Pendleton on Aug. 11, 1960. She graduated high school from Long Creek in 1978.

Hazel was a compassionate spirit whose passion was caring for others. She was always willing to give a helping hand. She enjoyed hunting, reading romance novels and making jewelry in her spare time. Hazel was outgoing and never backed down from a challenge.

Hazel is survived by her brother, Casey Arbogast, her 5 children Matthew, Robert, William, Ashley, Walter and 12 grandchildren.

Services will be held Oct. 23, at 12 p.m. at the Burns Elk Lodge.
