The Burns wrestling team is once again on top of the Oregon 3A wrestling world. All 15 Burns wrestlers that qualified for the state tournament scored team points as the Hilanders racked up 180 points to win the 3A state title. Dayton, who Burns beat in the finals of the Oregon Classic, placed second with 144.5 points, followed by Nyssa with 112, Willamina/Falls City 77.5, and La Pine 73 in the top five.

The Hilanders had five wrestlers in the finals, with four winning their respective weight classes. Oliver Barnes (106), Justin Winn (132), Cody King (145), and Wyatt Epling (160) all took the top spot on the podium, while Mick Winn (195) placed second.
