Arleta Belle (Osborn) Adams passed away Aug. 7.

Arleta was born Oct. 30, 1935, in Burns to Troy Oliver Osborn and Claudina Nina (Melvin) Osborn.

Postponing her graduation from Burns Union High School until 1957, she married James Adams of Burns.

Arleta was preceded in death by her daughters, Lucille and Laura; sister, Azalea; and husband, James.

She is survived by her sister, Kay Hart of Burns; brother, Raymond (Butch) Osborn of Mitchell; son, Jim; and daughter, Lilli; as well as numerous beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and their families.

A celebration of Arleta’s life will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 21, at Triangle Park in Burns. All who knew her are welcome to attend.
