Arthur (Arch) Charles Sutton passed away Aug. 16 in Bend.

Arch was born July 23, 1949, in Portland to Dorothy and Jerol Sutton. The family soon moved to Bend in 1950 for a year, before moving to Burns in the spring of 1951, around Easter time.

Arch was baptized and confirmed in the First Lutheran Church.

He graduated from Burns Union High School in 1968. After school, he went out to see the world, and he did.

He spent the last 20 or so years in Bend with his partner, Marva.

Arch got his associate degree and was a drug and alcohol counselor until his death. He was very brave.

A memorial service will be held in the spring.
