Norman DeJong of Prairie City passed away June 1.

Norm was born April 4, 1942, to Rudolph DeJong and Mary Ann Robins DeJong in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Per his request, there will be no funeral service. There will be a motorcycle ride at 11 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, starting and ending downtown at the Prairie City Community Center. A joyful commemorative mingle celebrating Norm will follow at the community center at 2:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the Prairie City Community Association, P.O. Box 758 Prairie City, Oregon 97869 for Prairie City Community Center remodel.
