Todd James Cochran, 54, of Kennewick, Wash., passed away Sept. 13.

Born in Cottonwood, Idaho in 1964, Todd graduated from Prairie High School before eventually moving to Burns. He worked most of his life in construction as an equipment operator, most notably for Harney Rock and Paving. After his time in Burns, Todd moved to Bend before eventually settling in Kennewick in the early 2000s.

The proudest achievement of Todd’s short life was his beloved daughter, Symantha. She will forever remain the light of his life.

Todd was a good son, brother, father, and friend. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him. He was always there to lift up the room or share a funny, sometimes off-color, story.

Todd is survived by Sally Cochran, Mike Von Bargen, Tim Cochran, Terry and Jennifer Cochran, Tonya Jungert, Eydie and Greg Hall, Mandi and Nic Frost, Symantha Sermino, a lot of nieces and nephews, and so many friends in Kennewick who treated him like family for so many years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Delbert Cochran; and sister, Teena Von Bargen.

A memorial service will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at the Harney County Senior and Community Services Center. All are welcome to attend.
