Missing woman found deceased on Hwy. 20 News September 19, 2018September 19, 20180 On Sept. 11, at approximately 7 a.m., Oregon State Police (OSP) and emergency personnel responded to the report of a single-vehicle crash on Highway 20 near milepost 142. An investigation revealed that on Sept. 10, at approximately 4:45 p.m. Kristina Baker, 44, of Burns, left her residence operating a 2015 Ford F350 pulling a livestock trailer. Later that evening, her family reported her missing to the Harney County Sheriff’s Office. On Sept. 11, at approximately 7 a.m., her vehicle was located off Highway 20. It went through a fence and into a field, which caused little damage to the vehicle. Baker was located deceased in the vehicle. It is believed that she suffered a medical emergency, which caused her to drive off the road. OSP was assisted by the Harney County Sheriff’s Office and Harney County Ambulance.
