Glen W. Phillips of Burns passed away Aug. 28 at Riverview Rehabilitation in Idaho. He battled bone cancer for more than three years.

Glen was born March 3, 1934. His love was his family. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, guiding, cooking, and panning for gold.

Glen is survived by by his partner, Shirley Phillips; daughter, Julie Phillips Peasley; three granddaughters, Chamese Christianson, Miranda Owen, and Amber Owen; great-grandchildren, Joyse, Jayson, Holt, Owen, and Troy.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Phillips of Illinois; mother, Kaithern of Illinois; five brothers; and three sisters.
