Tommie Norwood, 70, passed away peacefully Sept. 4 at Harney District Hospital.

Tommie was born Aug. 30, 1948, in Phoenix, Ariz.

He loved fishing, and hunting was his favorite pastime. He was the best grandpa.

Tommie is survived by his wife of 32 grateful years, Patty; brother, Carol; children, Jen Parry and Erik Norwood; stepchildren, Tad, Tiffany, Tyrell, and Ryan Phippen; and grandchildren, Jon, Victor, Jourdyne, Christopher, Shianna, Anthonee, Sebryna, and Tara.

A special thank you to Harney District Hospital for allowing the family to bring Tommie’s recliner in for him to use in his last days. It was really appreciated.
