Joyce Marie Moulton 1942-2018 Obituary September 5, 2018September 6, 20183 Joyce Marie Moulton passed away peacefully Aug. 27 at the Hospice House in Bend. She was born March 7, 1942, in Louisville, Ky., to Edward and Viola Robinson. She was the fifth of seven children. Joyce traveled around with her father and lived in many different locations and attended multiple schools. She met the love of her life, Orville Gene Moulton, in 1966. They married Sept. 26, 1968, and soon after, Gene adopted her three children, Edward Roy Moulton, Scott Lee Moulton, and Edith Joann Corns. They started raising their children in Seneca, but eventually moved to Burns. Joyce was a millworker for many years, but ultimately was able to retire doing what she loved most. Her passion was to care for her family and for others, and she did so for many years as a CNA at Harney District Hospital. Joyce loved hunting, fishing, and camping with her family. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting, scrapbooking, ceramics, and cooking. Joyce is survived by her brother, Eddie Robinson (wife, Abby); sister, Barbara Parker; son, Edward Moulton (wife, Miranda); daughter, Edie Corns (husband, Wayne); grandchildren, Edward Gene Moulton, Daniel Moulton, Kayla Corns, Jonsi Wangler, Randy Acree, and Dixie Moulton; multiple great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and multiple nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Gene Moulton; son, Scott Lee Moulton; brothers, Joe Robinson and Donnie Robinson; and sisters, Doris Rae Lewis and Mary Hurlburt. A graveside service was held Sept. 1 at Canyon City Cemetery, with a celebration of life that followed at the home of her daughter, Edie.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Edie and her family at this time of loss. She was a very special lady in the lives of all who knew her. Reply
