Nida Dingle Gunkel 1955-2018 Obituary June 27, 2018June 27, 20180 Nida Dingle Gunkel, 62, passed away June 14 at the Aspens. Nida was born on Dec. 4, 1955, in Cadapli, Philippines, to Jose B. Dingle and Inocencia L. Chavez Dingle. Nida went to school at Saint Christopher Academy and Philippine School of Business Administration. She married Harvey Gunkel on July 23, 1988. She enjoyed going fishing with her husband and family and loved to go shopping. She attended Bible Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and was involved with Vacation Bible School every year. Nida is survived by her husband, Harvey Gunkel of Crane; son, Tom Gunkel of Burns; daughter, Iris Nunnery and husband, Samuel of Albany; brothers, Alex Dingle and wife, and Florante Dingle and wife; sisters, Delia Dingle Hollandworth and husband, and Edith Dingle Sarmiento and husband, all of California. She was preceded in death by her father, Jose Dingle; and brother, Crisostoma Dingle. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 30, at Bible Baptist Church, with burial to follow in the Burns Cemetery.
