Theodore “Ted” Lee Savage passed away April 24 from a heart attack.

Ted was born Nov. 28, 1969, to Dennis Lee and Kate Darlene Savage at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Red Bluff, Calif.

He grew up in Cottonwood, Calif., and attended Cottonwood grammar school and West Valley High School.

After graduation, Ted worked as a mill worker, and later he worked at several jobs in the construction field, including plumber, pipeline worker, and carpenter. For the last 10 years, he worked for several local contractors in the Burns area.

Ted is survived by his parents, Dennis Lee and Kate Darlene Savage; sister, Coreen Avila, of Red Bluff, Calif.; brother, John Savage of Redding, Calif.; daughter, Krystyna Tepayotl, and granddaughter, Nilah Tepayotl, of Redding; and several nieces and nephews.

No funeral will be held at his request. A celebration of life will be held at a later date this summer.
