Kenneth “Mike” Frisby, 91, passed away at his home Friday, Dec. 9. At his request, no services will be held.

Mike Frisby was born Jan. 26, 1925, in Bend, to Fred and Bessie Jones Frisby.

His family moved around much of his childhood, mostly in Idaho and Oregon.

He married Donna Altizer Dec. 27, 1954, and they made their home in Hines, where Mike worked as a logger for Edward Hines Lumber Company for 30 years.

He enjoyed building and remodeling homes in his spare time, and collecting antiques, clocks, and watches.

He is survived by his daughter, Janice and son-in-law, Steve Morefield of Burns; son, Ken and daughter-in-law, Tari Frisby of The Dalles; grandchildren, Brett, Kelsee, Trevor, Joe, Jason, and Jon; numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Donna; brothers, Elwood and David Frisby, and Elmer Kinder; sister, Gladys Phinney; and stepbrother, Amos Ireland.
