Cecelia M. Jameson 1927-2016 Obituary November 23, 2016November 24, 20160 Cecelia M. Jameson passed away Nov. 4. Cecelia was born June 30, 1927, in Juntura to Martin and Annie Joyce. Raised in Juntura, she worked as a secretary at the Hines Lumber Company. She married Joe Jameson June 19, 1948, at the Holy Family Catholic Church in Burns. They moved to the Beaverton area in 1956, where they raised their 10 children. Cecelia was employed with AA Ambulance in Portland and later as an administrator in the home health industry. She was an active member of St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Beaverton for as long as she lived in the area. She was a member of the St. Gerard Guild, volunteered with St. Vincent De Paul Society and other charities, and was active at St. Cecilia’s Catholic School while her children were in attendance. Cecelia is survived by her 10 children, Joseph (Karen) of Springfield, Patrick of Boise, Idaho, Barbara Casey of Portland, Shelia of Portland, Chris (Jill) of Yorba Linda, Calif., Benny of Beaverton, Brad (Lisette) of Chicago, Ill., Thomas of Beaverton, Maura Thompson (Paul) of Poulsbo, Wash., and Joyce of Beaverton; grandchildren, Matthew Jameson (Crystal), Cody Jameson, Lindsay Jameson, Kaitlin Thompson, Patrick Thompson, Jack Jameson, and Mae Jameson; great-granddaughter, Aubree Jameson; several nieces and nephews; and first cousin, Helen Stanton of Ontario. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe, in 1980; brother, John (Jean) Joyce of Ontario; sisters, Eleanor (Tom) Howard of Drewsey, and Patricia (Dan) Bachman of Alexandria, Va. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2, at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Beaverton. Recitation of the rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, at Pegg, Paxson & Springer Funeral Chapel.
