Wendy Lynne (Meredith) Schouviller was born in Nanimo, Canada, in 1941.  She moved with her family at a young age to Portland in 1951, and then became a U.S. citizen. After high school, Wendy cooked at Wagontire, and there she met Irvin Schouviller and married him in Burns in 1961. She was blessed with three children, and numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  Wendy spent numerous years in Harney County where she volunteered for the Lawen community club and supported her children in sports activities and her husband in farm activities. She then spent 25 years with her partner, Buck McAtee, in the Redmond area.

Wendy is survived by her daughter, Kathie (Mike) Gangstead; son, Mark (Brenda) Schouviller; and Todd Schouviller. Donations may be made to Redmond Hospice, and a private family memorial will be attended by family in early November.
