Vernon Leroy Case, 81, of Woodburn passed away at home Feb. 9, with his loving wife, Janice, by his side.

Vernie was born Dec. 30, 1934, to Paul Manning Case and Audrey Naomi (Emery) Case in Walker, Minn.

He was in the electrical business for many years and was employed by several contractors and received his journeyman and supervisors license, retiring in 1988.

He made many friends over the years and enjoyed traveling in their motor home.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Janice; children, Jeff Case, Susan Kiehl, Kelly Clark and Mark Case, and their families; five brothers, Bud, Wes (Elaine), Stan (Dorsey), Wally (Betty), Howard (Lynda); two sisters, Pauline Gustafson and Marilyn (Larry) McMurray; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Lucas Halverson.

Per his request, no services will be held.
