Brenda Kay Pointere passed away unexpectedly Dec. 1,  at the age of 60.

Brenda was born April 8, 1958, in Payson, Utah, to Earl LeRoy and Darlene LaRue Peterson. She married Randy Pointere Jr. on June 12, 1976.

Brenda was employed by Wagner’s Furniture for 19 years and was a partner at Ribbons & Roses Unlimited. Her hobbies included sewing, floral arrangements, painting, cooking, and putting together window displays.  Brenda had a love for people, which showed in her many long friendships.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Randy Pointere Jr.; daughter, Gail Pointere; mother, Darlene Peterson; brother, James Peterson; nieces, Kesha (Josh) Elliott and Shani Peterson; and father-in-law, Randy Pointere Sr.

She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Peterson.

A funeral service was held Dec. 6 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, with a private graveside dedication at Burns Cemetery.

The family would like to thank everyone who helped with Brenda’s service, and for the kindness and compassion that has been shown toward the family.
