Crane boys take 1st, girls 2nd at Rancher’s Invitational

The Crane boys track team took first place and the girls team placed second at the Rancher’s Invitational held Friday, April 13, at Crane Union High School.

The Mustangs’ boys team finished with 131 points to win the meet, followed by Harper with 119, Notus, Idaho 97, Long Creek 68, Dayville/Monument 46, Jordan Valley 42, and Huntington 36.

Notus won the girls meet with 129 points, edging Crane with 127 points. Jordan Valley placed third with 43 points, followed by Huntington 40, Dayville/Monument 40, Long Creek 35.5, and Harper 10.5.

Those finishing in the top eight of their events for Crane are as follows:

After a few years in college, he settled in Idaho for a decade, skiing, golfing, and working at Sun Valley Resort.
