Richard “Dick” Read, 82, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 16, at Blue Mountain Care Center in Prairie City.

Dick was born May 23, 1935, in White Salmon, Wash. to Wern and Myrtle Read.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Feb. 10, at the Faith Baptist Church of Harney County in Hines, starting at 11 a.m.
