Hugh L. Lytle, 92, passed away of natural causes Oct. 2 at his home in Malheur County. Mr. Lytle, a World War II veteran, was buried at the Drewsey Cemetery Oct. 10.

Hugh was born Jan. 31, 1925, in Drewsey. His parents were William Henry Lytle and Nellie Elizabeth McMullin. He served in the Navy during WWII in the Pacific Arena.

Hugh had previously owned and operated several businesses in Port Townsend, Wash. Most recently, he and his wife, Violet, ran an espresso shop out of their commercial business property in the McDermitt area of Nevada.
