Nanette “Bunny” Eydthe Winter 1955-2016

 

Nanette “Bunny” Eydthe Winter, 62, passed away Sept. 28, 2016, at her home in Burns.

Bunny was born June 30, 1955, in Moses Lake, Wash. She was the oldest of the children.

She was a longtime resident of Harney County. She moved to Washington in 1995 where she became a school custodian for 13 years for the Puyallup School District.

Bunny relocated back to Burns in 2012 to take care of her mother, Iris, until she passed away in 2014.

Bunny fell ill in 2013 with COPD and congestive heart failure. In January 2014, Bunny’s daughter, Andrea, moved in to help take care of her until she passed away with her daughter at her side.

Bunny is survived by her daughters, Andrea Reason of Burns, and Amy Cooper of Prineville; brothers, Sam Landin of Port Orchard, Wash., and Ted Landin of Prineville; sister, Ivy Conger of Ontario; and numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Theodore Landin; mother, Iris V. Landin; and grandson, Anthony D. McVey-Leach.
