Mary Louise Hill, or Mary Lou as she preferred to be called, passed away Jan. 8 in Klamath Falls.
Mary Lou was born Nov. 9, 1922, in Burns.
In 1943, Mary Lou married the love of her life, Jack Davidson. They had two beautiful daughters. Then, sadly, Jack died. In 1970, Mary Lou dedicated her life to Jehovah God by water baptism in Eugene, alongside her grown daughters. Soon after, she married Robert Wagar. Her family of loved ones grew to include his children, grandchildren, and the congregation in Miles City, Mont. After his death, in her 70s, she married yet again to John Brogden and added more loved ones to her family. John and Mary Lou served Jehovah faithfully together for 20 years.
Mary Lou left behind a vast number of friends, family, and loved ones from near and far, including her daughters, Pam Curtis of Battle Ground, Wash., and Linda Estep of Klamath Falls.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 11, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 14665 S.E. Bluff Road in Sandy.
