Opal “LaWeen” Ball passed away Dec. 2, 2016, at The Aspens care facility in Hines.

Opal was born July 7, 1924, in Baker City to David W. and Grace Merritt.

The family has planned a celebration of LaWeen’s life, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, later this spring in Baker City.
